Celebrating 10 Years of Connection, Conversation & Community

The Spectrum Space Symposium is back and this year marks a very special milestone: our 10-year anniversary!

Over the past decade, the Symposium has grown into one of Western Australia’s most significant events in the neurodiverse landscape. It brings together autistic people, families, educators, professionals, and advocates to share knowledge, explore challenges, and celebrate neurodiversity.

Whether you’re new to the community or have been with us from the beginning, this year’s event is all about connection, inclusion, and impact.

What to Expect in 2026

  • A Two-Day Program: Expanded in response to community feedback, with more time for connection, conversation, and reflection.
  • Local and National Voices: Hear from autistic speakers, families, researchers, educators and professionals sharing lived experience and expertise.
  • Panels, Presentations & Networking: A mix of formats to suit different communication styles and comfort levels.
  • Special 10-Year Celebration: Join us for a dedicated celebration to mark a decade of connection, community, and impact. This special event will be a chance to reflect, reconnect, and celebrate this incredible milestone together.
  • Opportunities to Get Involved: Whether you want to present, join a panel, or simply attend and connect, we welcome you.

Why It Matters

The Spectrum Space Symposium is more than a conference. It’s a space where stories are shared, ideas are sparked, and community is built. We’re proud to provide a platform for autistic voices and to foster a culture of inclusion and respect.

Proudly Presented by Spectrum Space

Spectrum Space is pleased to deliver the 2026 Symposium as part of our ongoing commitment to building inclusive communities and celebrating neurodiversity. As a local organisation dedicated to supporting autistic individuals and their families, we’re proud to host this milestone event and continue creating spaces for connection, learning, and lived experience to shine.

This conference received grant funding from the Australian Government.

“This event is great! It feels very ‘real’ – I love how inclusive it is and that the speakers with lived experience are presenting rather than researchers that research autistic individuals. This is the only Symposium that I know that has achieve the above aspects.”
